A summer sweet dream

Imprinted in the gentle colour of roses.

Soft and sensuous,

Full and glorious,

This colour blend

Could send you

Into a rapture

To capture the moment.

Summer passes

All too quickly

For most of us.

To sit amongst roses,

Or other floral posies,

Indulging in a cream tea,

What could be better

For just about anybody!

Peaches and cream

Beneath the sunbeam,

Oh the joys of summer,

On a sunny afternoon

Amidst a richness of roses.

Lord, little if anything, can outclass the summer rose; particularly when the delight of an afternoon cream tea is added to the occasion! Thank You so much. Amen.
